As of May 2025, Congregation Brith Achim in Petersburg has new spiritual leadership and would love to welcome you! Hazzan Marian Turk has joined Brith Achim and will be leading services three times a month.

Please join us for Friday night services on August 8^th, 15^th, and 22^nd at 7:30 pm for a lively Friday night service and a delicious oneg. On August 1^st, there will be a delicious oneg and a Friday night service led by Dr. Samuel Richardson. In September, Hazzan Marian will lead a Shabbat morning service on the 6^th, and Friday night services on the 12^th and the 19^th.

Brith Achim would also love to welcome you for the High Holidays. This year we are thrilled to have a trio of talented prayer leaders and musicians to lead us in a meaningful journey through the High Holidays.

Mo Sherman will be our Rabbi, Hazzan Marian Turk will chant the liturgy and lead rousing and joyful singing, and Lynne Lapidus will be our soloist and guitarist.

Best of all, Brith Achim has never charged for High Holiday tickets (though we will happily take a donation if you wish to make one).

Brith Achim's High Holiday services will be held as follows:

Monday, Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m.: Erev Rosh HaShanah service, with oneg to follow.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m.: Morning Rosh HaShanah service with lunch to follow.

Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 6:45 p.m.: Kol Nidre service.

Thursday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.: Yom Kippur morning service.

Thursday, Oct. 2nd at 7:45 p.m.: Havdalah and break fast.
