Richmond Jewish Foundation held its year-end Board of Directors meeting on June 18,  recognizing outgoing Directors Scott Belleman, Robert Flax, and Howard Goldfine, as well as immediate past Chair Ron Felmus, for their dedicated service.

Scott Belleman received the 2026 Anne and S. Sidney Meyers Endowment Achievement Award from Outgoing Chair Ron Felmus, which recognizes outstanding contributors to the field of Jewish endowment and honors individuals who have helped promote the growth of RJF while demonstrating leadership, vision, imagination, and active engagement.

The Board also welcomed its new Class of 2029: Ellen Renee Adams, Millie Becker, Josh Goldberg, Brian Greene, Rachel Safren, Lynn Schwartz, Richard Thalhimer, and Sara Waskin.

In addition, the Board installed its officers for the coming year: Rosann Bocciarelli, Chair; Jeff Levin, Treasurer; Eric Shoenfeld, Assistant Treasurer; and Ann Macheras, Secretary.

Outgoing Board Chair Ron Felmus highlighted a year of significant achievement, including surpassing $70 million in assets under management, implementing a state-of-the-art administrative software platform, and awarding more than $7 million in grants to support the Jewish and broader community.

He was recgognized for his service as Chair by incoming Chair Rosann Bocciarelli.

The Board concluded the meeting by discussing goals for the coming year, including the launch of RJF’s newly created Legacy Plus match for new endowments. RJF plans to leverage this initiative to create funds that will strengthen and support all areas of Jewish Richmond.
