Friendship Circle of Virginia is excited to invite the community to its 6th Annual Walk N Roll & Friendship Fair, taking place at a new location within Byrd Park: Swan Lake!
The free event will take place on Sunday, November 8, from 1–3 p.m. and brings people of all abilities together to celebrate friendship, inclusion, and community connection.
New location, same beloved event! Participants can walk, roll, scooter, or skate around Swan Lake before enjoying an afternoon filled with fun for the whole family.

Families and friends are encouraged to come for the walk and stay for the fair. The afternoon will feature exciting activities for all ages, including inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, henna, games, face painting, balloon twisting, resource tables, a magician and juggler, and sweet treats like Kona Ice, cotton candy, and popcorn. All free of charge!
This year’s Walk N Roll & Friendship Fair is presented by Fas Mart, QTS, and Rudlin Torah Academy, with additional support from The Galpern Family, Heritage Wealth, Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, The UPS Stores, The Walker Family, Goldfish Swim School, The Levy Family, and The Doyle Family. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.

Back by popular demand, Makom on a Roll, a kosher food truck that employs adults with disabilities, will be returning this year thanks to the generous support of the Galpern Family.
Families and community members who have attended past Friendship Circle events know how much the day means to the community. One parent shared:
“I really appreciate the fact that Friendship Circle of Virginia specifically plans to make these events free. I know they come at a high cost because you offer SO much, but I want to tell you how grateful I am that this organization exists. My children had a lovely time and want to attend the next one.”
A community member shared:
“Friendship Circle’s Walk N Roll feels different from other walks. It feels less like a traditional walk and more like a big family picnic where everyone is welcome.”

Registration is completely free, and the first 200 registrants will receive a complimentary swag bag (limit of 2 per family)! Sign up today at FCVAWalkNRoll.com.
