Friendship Circle Hosts 5th Annual Walk n Roll at Byrd Park

Friendship Circle of Virginia is thrilled to invite the community to its 5th Annual Walk N Roll on Sunday, Nov. 9, from 1- 3 p.m. at Fountain Lake in Byrd Park.

This free event celebrates friendship, inclusion, and community connection, welcoming participants of all abilities to walk, roll, scooter, or skate around a 1-mile loop (two laps around Fountain Lake).

But there is more! Families and friends are encouraged to come for the walk, stay for the fair! The event will feature exciting activities for all ages including a kosher food truck that employes adults with disabilities, inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, henna, games, face painting, balloon twisting, resource tables, magician and juggler, and sweet treats like cotton candy and popcorn. See just a few of the photos from last year with this article.

This year’s Walk n Roll is presented by Fas Mart for the fifth year in a row and sponsored by QTS Data Centers, with additional support from the Walker Family and Goldfish Swim School.

“This was one of the best events we’ve been to. Absolutely wonderful.”

“We had a really fun family time. Petting the animals was a huge hit and my son LOVED the inflatable maze game. Thank you so much, we look forward to next year!”

Registration is completely free, and the first 150 registrants will receive a complimentary swag bag!
