Sunday, January 18, | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Dewey Gottwald Center
Friendship Circle of Virginia is proud to host the 3rd Annual Disability Resource Expo, a free community event bringing together 80 vendors and organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers.
The Expo will take place on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Dewey Gottwald Center, located behind the Science Museum of Virginia.

This event provides a one-stop opportunity to explore the vast range of local and statewide resources available for individuals with disabilities of all ages, from infants to seniors.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with organizations representing various areas, including adaptive and accessible vehicles, behavioral therapy, financial planning, mobility products, inclusive programs, rehabilitative care, home and senior services, and much more.
The Expo is designed to empower individuals and families to learn, connect, and discover solutions that enhance independence and quality of life. Whether you’re a parent seeking early intervention resources, an adult exploring adaptive recreation options, or a caregiver looking for senior support services, this event offers valuable tools and connections.
Both exhibitors and attendees consistently share how impactful this event is. One exhibitor noted, “The traffic you all had today here was energizing for the beginning of the new year.” An attendee echoed the value of the experience, saying, “What an incredible event! So beneficial to gather all the resources in one space.”
In addition to exploring the Expo, attendees can enjoy discounted admission to the Science Museum of Virginia, located adjacent to the venue, making it a fun and educational day for the whole family.
The Disability Expo is open to the public, and admission is free. To learn more or register, visit friendshipcircleva.org/disability-expo.
