The Pigeon made a noble and compelling case for why he should be allowed to drive the bus, but our PJ families held tight to original author Mo Willems’ bus driving standards in the Virginia Repertory Theater’s Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus: The Musical!
Richmond’s PJ Library families used every last one of our discounted tickets and met the actors after the show on April 27 for photos and autographs.

Don’t be surprised if you see incredible actors on Broadway one day whose claim to fame is acting in this musical. They were fantastically talented, and our 40 PJ Library attendees were treated to a performance that captivated children, parents, and grandparents for an entire hour.

Winners of the early registration prize drawing.
We laughed, empathized, and sat riveted to the story line, joys, and woes of each creative character.

Would you like PJ Library RVA to gather for another Va Rep children’s theater show? Let Lisa know at PJLibrary@JewishRichmond.org.
