Local Law Enforcement Appreciated

The Richmond Jewish Community is thankful and appreciative to our local law enforcement members who provide their services to keep us safe and secure 365 days a year.

To show our appreciation, on National Law Enforcement Day recently, a group of volunteers and Federation and Richmond Jewish Foundation staff delivered bagels and other goodies to area precincts and departments in the area.

Drop-offs were made to the 3rd and 4th precincts in Richmond, the VCU Police, the University of Richmond Police Department, the West Police Station in Henrico, the Swift Creek District in Chesterfield County, the Virginia State Police Headquarters/Fusion Center in Chesterfield, the Ashland Police Department and the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

We ask community members to be sure to thank our local law enforcement members at various events, Synagogues and other places.

See photos at several drop-offs.
