Little L’Chaim Helps to Engage PJ Library Families

PJ Library families are finding each other in the most wonderful ways!

Over the past several months, Little L’Chaim has gathered 19 Jewish Richmond families with children under 2 years old for social engagement for both parents and children.

The beauty of children’s communication with each other is prevalent, and conversation is ripe with connection, humor, empathy, and honesty.  And, let’s be honest, parents are simply enjoying this social opportunity.

Reflection and Joy

Each moment offers potential for reflection and joy as we watch our youngest learners engage with the world and their peers, and parents need time to connect with other parents, too.

Little L’Chaim has plans to visit various Jewish agencies around town with the added benefit for parents to learn about each Jewish school or synagogue to support potential planning of their family’s Jewish journey.

We will continue to meet up in other public spaces and homes as well with gratitude to everyone’s participation and generous contributions of time and space.

For our PJ parents with children under 2, we hope you can join us for one or more gatherings.  Keep your eye on the PJ Library RVA newsletter for upcoming dates and registration, or reach out to Lisa at PJLibrary@JewishRichmond.org.
