We are pleased to announce that Julie Platt, a national acclaimed Jewish communal leader and visionary philanthropist, will be the keynote speaker at the L’dor V’dor Woman of Valor special event honoring community leader Rhona Arenstein on April 28 at the Weinstein JCC.

Platt is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), and a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Foundation for Jewish Camp.

In 2025, Israel President Isaac Herzog awarded her with the Israeli Presidential Medal of Honor, Israel’s highest civilian honor.

Prior to serving as Board Chair at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, she served as their General Campaign Chair, Chair of their Ensuring the Jewish Future Strategic Initiative, and Chair of the Federation’s Sylvia Weisz Women’s Philanthropy.
