Many of you remember the late Elinor Bloom Marshall, the tireless volunteer, successful businesswoman and devoted family leader of the Richmond-Petersburg community.
Since her passing in 2010, the Richmond Chapter of Hadassah has been celebrating her memory and lifetime achievements with the Elinor Bloom Marshall Humanitarian Award given every other year to a community member who exemplifies Elinor’s attributes.
The award is presented at a fun and exciting event with a meaningful program. The planning for the 2024 event will start soon. If you are interested in participating, please contact me. More to come as details unfold.
Have you signed up for Hadassah Hikes? Please meet me on Sunday, June 4 at 10 a.m., for a 3-mile walk at Byrd Park taking in such sights as the Carillon, Dogwood Dell and the beautiful lakes culminating in refreshments at a member’s home.
