Join us for our Midlothian Purim Party on Saturday, March 4th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Gather Midlothian, sponsored by Diversity Richmond and Point 5, Richmond’s first alcohol-free bottle shop.
“We’re honored to provide an all-ages Purim party that caters to underserved members of the Jewish community, including alcohol-free (or sober-curious) adults, Jews south of the river, the LGBTQ+ community, and interfaith families,” said Rabbi Patrick Beaulier. “You can expect an inclusive, fun-filled atmosphere for everyone.”
Festivities will include an upscale, alcohol-free Purim cocktail bar by Point 5, hors d’oeuvres and hamantaschen cookies, a free create-your-own mishloach manot booth, a donation Judaica store, an interactive English reading of the megillah, plus art and activities for kids.
Costumes will be available at the door, but you’re encouraged to bring your own.
All are welcome regardless of religious or congregational affiliation.
This event is free entry but registration is requested at https://kehillahrva.org/carytown-purim-party/. Donations are appreciated to benefit Kehillah’s holiday programming.
