Greetings!

I’m thrilled to report that our long-awaited renovation project is well underway.

All the walls in our former entryway have been removed and new wiring and reconfiguration of the

H-VAC systemS are in the works.

I love walking into the Museum each day and seeing what Leipertz Construction has accomplished as we march toward the completion of the project.

Please visit our website often for updates, including registering for our Hard Hat tours later this spring. We will keep you posted!

New Exhibit

On April 10, we will open our newest featured exhibit: “Halt! Remembering the Holocaust. Artwork by G. Roy Levin.” Levin painted on discarded fruit and vegetable crates with wire and unframed canvases. He wanted his works to stimulate the viewer’s imagination to think about what it was like – and in my opinion, he was successful.

Yom HaShoah

And last but not least, On April 23, at 2 p.m., please join us at the Museum in the Choral Synagogue Auditorium for our Annual Yom HaShoah Remembrance program.

This year’s highlights include a violin solo by Dr. Jocelyn Vorenberg, of the Richmond Symphony and a keynote address by Meredith Weisel, Regional Director of ADL.
