On Feb. 9, the Weinstein JCC, supported by the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond, hosted a meaningful, laughter filled inclusive Shabbat Sha-bang celebrating our diverse community!
All who attended enjoyed a delicious Shabbat meal, as Dr. Sarah Kranz-Ciment led the Shabbat candle lighting and enlightened participants with a short presentation about inclusion.
The Faison Center also shared ideas about the benefit of collaboration.
A highlight of the event was the interactive comedy of ComedySportz Richmond! The local comedy troupe delivered an improvisational night of fun, laughter, and audience participation.
The Weinstein JCC’s next Shabbat Sha-bang, centered around cultural diversity, will be on May 5 and includes the fun music of Mr. G and a Cinco de Mayo theme!
