The youth division of Jewish Family Theatre at the Weinstein JCC, known as “Second Stage,” is delighted to share their upcoming plans for summer and aspiring thespians!
They are offering two exciting opportunities for campers at the Weinstein JCC. In July they will offer STARS TO BE, a one week (four-day with a holiday on July 4) for grades 3-5.
This is perfect for the elementary aged students interested in getting onstage, learning about theatre, and having fun! This half-day experience culminates in a casual sharing experience that families can attend.
In August they are offering ON BROADWAY; a two week all day intensive for campers who are interested in a more comprehensive theatre experience, onstage AND backstage. Participants will explore all areas of doing theatre, plus produce a fully realized performance at the end of the session. This is a full-day camp at the Weinstein JCC.
Preliminary auditions for the teen production of “The Prom” have occurred.
