After a long hiatus, the Richmond Run-A-Latke is back!

The 11th Annual Run-A-Latke 5K and One-Miler, benefiting Rudlin Torah Academy, will take place Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Weinstein JCC.

“We are so happy to be up and running again (no pun intended),” said Wendy Lusk, race director.

“We’re also thrilled to announce our virtual option for those who can’t participate in person. The virtual option is perfect for those families who are committed to Sunday Hebrew school. In the past, we missed these individuals and they missed us. Now we have the solution.”

The Run-A-Latke is for people of all ages and all abilities. The one-mile event begins at 9:30 a.m., and the 5K, which is chip timed, begins at 10 a.m. All participants receive our famous race T-shirt and medal.

Ms. Latke greets runners at the finish line of the 1-mile race in December 2019.

Come celebrate Chanukah with us a little early! Our post-race party is a highlight with an abundance of doughnuts, hot cocoa, and of course, latkes!
