Richmond musician Susan Greenbaum will be featured as our family speaker this year, and will bring her passion and faith to our Kristallnacht Remembrance Service on Nov. 6 at the Emek Sholom Holocaust Memorial Cemetery in a song written generations ago to convey the message of joy, release, and determination; the Partisans’ song.
Our theme this year is “Mir Zeynen Do” (We Are Here). After everything that has happened, We Are Here !
The Kristallnacht program is open to the public, and is from 2-3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Emek Sholom is more easily accessed using the Alma Avenue entrance. Turn left immediately after entering from Alma Avenue, and continue 2-3 blocks to the memorial.
