Join us Friday, Dec. 23 at Gather (2400 Old Brick Road) for our Short Pump Hanukkah Party! New location, same festive fun!

Our celebration will feature:

  • Live Menorah Lighting (BYO or borrow one of ours)
  • Judaica Giveaways (donations accepted)
  • Free Latke & Donut Bar (while supplies last)
  • Free Beverage Bar (alcoholic & non-alcoholic options)
  • Spin-the-Wheel & Dreidel Games (with prizes!)
  • Hanukkah-Themed Kids Coloring Station
  • Hanukkah Shabbat featuring music with the Kehillah-La’s & sermon from Rabbi Patrick

All are welcome! Get free tickets through Eventbrite.

We will need volunteers to make this celebration a success! Please email our Communications & Care Coordinator (kehillahcommunications@gmail.com) if you can join our Hanukkah Team in any of the following roles:

  • Day-of Coordinator (age 21+): A second-in-command at the venue who can help give direction and manage volunteers, under the direction of Rabbi Patrick. Will also act as door greeter and the person who answers volunteer questions. This person will arrive early and stay after the event to manage cleanup.
  • Photographer: Looking for someone who can take photos throughout the event. Must have a camera or a smartphone with a hi-res lens (e.g., iPhone Pro).
  • Culinary (age 21+): Arrive early to make latkes, create fabulous catering trays, set up the bar, etc. We’ll have the ingredients—you just need to have some experience with food and can follow written directions.
  • Setup & Decorations: Arrive early to set up tables and chairs, put up our decorations, create stations with games, prizes, etc.
  • Game Table: Run the Spin-the-Wheel, dreidel, and other games.
  • Cleanup: Clean up afterwards and help load up the rabbi’s car. Simple as that. Feel free to arrive any time, but stay after the event.
