Holiday preparations are underway for a festive season of overflowing joy “South of the James!”
November featured our normal services and activities, including our Federation-sponsored community Hebrew sessions:
- Thursday night Torah study on Sexuality and Spirituality, 7:30 on Zoom,
- Friday nights, 7:30 both on Zoom and in-person,
- Communal, participatory first and third Saturday services, 10 a.m. on Zoom,
- Children first and third Saturday services, 10 a.m. in-person (at rotating locations) and on Zoom, and
- Hebrew sessions (lessons, exercises and games), at various area libraries and businesses. The next session is December 17 at a Chesterfield library
- December supplements these activities with our community Hanukkah displays and outreach at area museums and libraries as well as our annual Hanukkah party.
