Jewish Family Theatre’s Second Stage youth performing arts education program finished the summer strong. Fan favorite Peter Pan Jr. wrapped in August to sold-out crowds.

Next up, JFT will be launching an 8-week theatre class for actors ages 6-9 called Lights, Camera, Action.

The program will take place at the Weinstein JCC after school on Wednesdays, beginning Oct. 12.

Through games, exercises and beginning acting material, these budding thespians will be introduced to the excitement, creativity, and enjoyment of theatre. Youth participants will be guided to work together using their imaginations to problem solve and gain confidence. For more information and to register, visit weinsteinjcc.org.

Rehearsals for Jewish Family Theatre’s fall musical, Anything Goes, are ramping up. The show opens Dec. 8 and runs through Dec. 18. This 50th Anniversary production will be led by the original director, Jerry Williams.

Be sure to mark your calendars—it will be a celebratory event not to be missed! Tickets are on sale now at weinsteinjcc.org.

Jewish Family Theatre strives to create a welcoming, inclusive environment. This talented group gives a voice to the amazing creativity present in our community. The Center invites friends of all ages and ethnicities to learn, enjoy and take part.
