GLOBAL DAY OF JEWISH LEARNING

Global Day of Jewish Learning (GDJL) is an international day of study and unity bringing together Jews of all beliefs and backgrounds all across the world on the same day.

Join event chairs, Elaine and Mitchell Ragone and Melissa and Andy Brownstein, along with committee members Millie Becker, Claudia Biegler, Gary Goldberg, Bonnie Kasoff, Julie Mullian and Amy Melnick-Scharf for the Weinstein JCC’s 4th Annual Global Day of Jewish Learning on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 2-5 p.m. in person at the Weinstein JCC.

In addition, we are thrilled to announce that our local Richmond pulpit Rabbis have all agreed to present and facilitate discussion around this year’s relevant topic: Rebuilding: How do we heal ourselves and our relationships? How do we proceed after national tragedies? How have the Jewish People moved forward following times of crisis? Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from religious leaders across all denominations of Judaism and engage in thoughtful conversation with fellow members of the community.

A full listing of topics and presenters is available on the Weinstein JCC website.

GDJL is free and open to the public. While walk-ins are welcome, advanced registration is encouraged as space is limited.
