Moderator John Levy with event panelists Seth Feibelman, Adam Nelson and Daniil Kleyman.

John Levy, President, John B. Levy & Company, Inc., led the conversation at the Sept. 8 meeting of the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond’s Real Estate Speaker Series, Commercial Real Estate – Trouble in Paradise?

The community came together in the Dominion Payroll Community Room in Scott’s Addition for networking, breakfast, and a panel discussion about inflation, interest rates, market trends, rental demand and rental rates, permitting times, surging costs, an overall labor pool shortage, and so much more.

Co-chairs of the Real Estate Speaker Series, John Levy and Nathan Shor, Senior Vice President and Regional Director, S.L. Nusbaum Reality Co., assembled another informative and enlightening panel, this time to consider if we will land softly.

Panelists Seth Feibelman, SVP, Commercial Market Executive, Burke and Herbert Bank; Adam Nelson, Shareholder, Thompsom McMullan, P.C.; and Daniil Kleyman, President, Evolve Development, LLC; shared their insights and experiences during these challenging times, and skillfully answered questions from the audience.

Thank you to all who attended the program. A special thank you to our Corporate Partners – Dominion Payroll, Allianz, Cross Timbers Roofing, Fulton Bank, Hirschler, Richmond Mortgage and Thompson McMullan, P.C., for allowing JCFR to maximize our impact in the community.

Save the date: The next meeting of the Real Estate Speaker Series is scheduled for Dec. 1 at 7:30 a.m.  Panelists and location, TBD.
