The community was saddened with the passing of our dedicated longtime 5400 Club leader and friend Dr. I. Norman Sporn on June 2.
Dr. Sporn was a passionate Program Director for the Club in addition to numerous community activities and honors including serving as a founding Board Member of the Virginia Holocaust Museum.
As noted in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, he lived his entire life in Richmond and with his wide range of interests and talents, was often referred to as a Renaissance Man by his family and friends. He was a doctor, musician, mathematician, mechanic, tailor, tennis player, computer guru, photographer, traveler and sometimes a prankster.
