Momentum for Rudlin Torah Academy (RTA) continues to build!

As RTA increases its professionalism, collaboration and engagement throughout our broad Jewish community, RTA completes its largest annual ALL IN Campaign for the second year in a row.

On May 15-16, RTA not only exceeded its $100,000 goal, but RTA welcomed over 400 donors who were ALL IN to support Jewish education, approximately a 20% increase in participation over last year.

This momentum comes on the heels of a year replete with organizational improvements including stronger board governance measures, a relationship with Rav Aharon Lopiansky to provide the board guidance on Torah-related matters, a successful search for a new Head of School, and a $500,000 gift from the Lessin charities toward finding RTA a new building.

“We are honored and deeply grateful for each and every donation,” said Daniel Roth, RTA president. “Your participation and your commitment raises the bar for what it means for the community to come together in support of Jewish education here in Richmond. Every person who is ALL IN for Jewish education and every dollar contributed means that we can further invest in our teachers, our curricular development, our facilities, and ultimately, our children. It’s a powerful thing.”

RTA is gearing up for a busy summer planning a strong program for Richmond’s Jewish children. Rabbi Elisha Paul, incoming Head of School, has begun to work with Rabbi Yosef Bart and lay leaders for a smooth transition. Rabbi Paul looks forward to being in Richmond full time beginning in July, and is very much looking forward to meeting Jewish Richmond.

Looking ahead, RTA is excited to put Run-A-Latke back on the calendar in December! Get ready and stay tuned for details.

Now is the time for you to be ALL IN for Jewish education.
