We’ve made it to Dulles, thanks to a large van and our driver Marcelle weaving us through some I-95 traffic. We’re at our gate now so I’ve got some time to blog.
We just checked 7 duffels containing 900 lbs of medical supplies and kids’ toys. Richmond really stepped up with these donations! (I was hoping to get to 1,000 lbs and contemplated pressing down on the scale but opted against it.)
The flight leaves for Paris at 6:30 so we’re getting a bite to eat — I am crushing this pizza — and teaching Ellen Renee how to post on Instagram.
