Straight from the stage of the Sara Belle November Theatre, the Weinstein JCC welcomes award-winning Jewish A Cappella group, Rak Shalom, for a live and in-person vocal performance on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2:30 p.m. (Note: a new date/time)
The group, founded in 2005 at the University of Maryland, took first place at the 2020 Kol Haolam National Collegiate Jewish A Cappella Championship Competition where it was also named Audience Favorite.
This family-friendly concert will be a unique and diverse repertoire of songs that range from American and Israeli pop to traditional Jewish melodies.
It promises to bring fun and excitement to the celebration of the Weinstein JCC’s 75th birthday.
Following the show, the audience is invited to indulge in a sweet birthday treat sponsored by Chris and Marc Greenberg and Blackwood Development.
