The Elinor Bloom Marshall Humanitarian Award event honoring Hadassah’s esteemed Ann Eisenberg was held Sunday, Oct. 10 virtually, with a small pre-reception in person for the Miracle, Believer, Innovator and Trail Blazer level donors.
Leslie Baron, Richmond chapter president, spoke at the pre-reception, along with Ann. The main event was virtual excluding the live award presentation by Mindy Bloom and Ann’s acceptance. It was a beautiful evening with a piano ensemble by Art Bloom, Elinor’s son.
This moving and beautiful evening raised over $85,000 with proceeds going to the neurology department at Hadassah Hospitals.
Aliza Bricklin, president of the Southern Seaboard Region of Hadassah said, “Let me just say, the event was fabulous! It was well thought-out, creative, and wonderfully focused on Hadassah through the good works of Elinor Bloom Marshall and Ann.”
Continuing she said,” The Hadassah and Elinor Bloom Marshall history you provided in the video along with the music was personal and heartfelt. Not to mention all the money your raised!! It was an incredible effort. On behalf of the region, kol hacavod on a job well done.”
Leslie Baron who spearheaded the event also gave “a huge thanks to all our donors and our incredible EBM leadership team and committee. We couldn’t have done it without this great group of women and all of our generous friends!”
