Across the country, the COVID-19 pandemic is having devastating effects.

We have been taking preventive measures at Beth Sholom Senior Living against COVID-19 for more than a year to help keep our residents, family members and staff stay safe.

Our team has worked under some uncertain and often stressful conditions to continue to provide our residents the quality care they deserve.

Beginning September 15

It is with this in mind that Beth Sholom Senior Living, beginning Sept. 15, 2021, will mandate the COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines for all staff, contractors, students, nursing agencies, vendors, ancillary medical personnel, volunteers, home health providers, private aides and hospice staff working within any of our buildings or with our residents.

We feel the implementation of the policy is imperative. It is our responsibility to provide a healthy and safe environment for all who reside, visit and work at Beth Sholom.

As of this writing, the Henrico County positivity rate according to CMS is 8.6 percent, an increase from 1.4 percent on June 21, 2021.

This fight is not over. Getting these vaccines will give an added layer of protection against the viruses. Stopping a pandemic requires using all the tools we have available—such as screening for COVID-19 symptoms, wearing masks, avoiding close contact with one another (within about 6 feet), avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces, washing your hands frequently, and getting vaccinated.

Health & Safety

The health and safety of our residents and staff continue to be our priority!
