Friendship Circle holds spectacular First Walk N’Roll

What a spectacular free and accessible community event hosted by Friendship Circle of Virginia for the entire community on Sunday, June 13.

Our inaugural 1-mile Walk N’ Roll was the first time since the pandemic that we all finally got together in-person in a safe way and it couldn’t have felt any better!

Over 250 participants joined together at Byrd Park to walk, roll and scooter around Fountain Lake. Individuals of all abilities from the Richmond area joined for all of the fun including free activities like a petting zoo, pony rides, snow cones, cotton candy, local entertainer Jonathan Austin, and more!

The event sponsor was Fas Mart, with 10 additional sponsors such as Hurricane Fence, Active Yards, Abilene Motors and more. We are grateful for each of them for making this event possible.
