Now that everyone is vaccinated, we kept getting the big question. When do we get to go back to the Weinstein JCC?

There were many happy people on Sunday. June 6, at the last EnRich For Life program for the current season.

We gave our older adults a choice. Come drive by and pick up a yummy Kosher lunch or join us in-person in the JCC for lunch with their friends.

We had 28 people join us inside and 50+ people drive by for a pick up.

Special thanks to our chefs: Ilene Paley, Amybeth Lehman, Gail Grandis and Amy Goel, plus our other volunteers — Charles and June Furrow, Kathy Kennedy, Sandy Sisisky and Margret O’Keefe.

We want to thanks our sponsors: The Jewish Community Federation of Richmond and VCU Health and to our partner, Jewish Family Services. This event also included a Zoom program arranged by Norman Sporn on Monday with Dr. Jodi Magness, “Mysteries of the Dead Sea Scrolls.”

If you are interested in joining us every Monday on Zoom at 12:25-1:30 p.m., for great speakers from the 5400 Club, or for EnRich For Life in the fall, or to volunteer, please contact Shari Menlowe-Barck, JCC Adult Programming director at (804) 545-8611 or sbarck@weinsteinjcc.org.
