Ellen Renee Adams joins JFNA National Women’s Philanthropy Board


Federation President Ellen Renee Adams is one of 27 leaders to be selected for The Jewish Federation of North America’s National Women’s Philanthropy (NWP) Board.

NWP celebrates female Jewish leaders from across the Federation system. NWP Board Members were nominated by their communities and selected through a competitive process.

More than 150 women from more than five dozen federations comprise the NWP Board. Each board member assumes a major role within her community and makes a generous Annual Campaign gift.

The first-year class was officially welcomed tin June when they gathered for a retreat via Zoom. The sessions focused on   building community, leadership skills, development strategies, advocacy, social justice, and much more.

JFNA represents 146 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities across North America, which raise and distribute more than $3 billion annually through Annual Campaign, planned giving and endowment programs.
