The Holocaust Commission of the United Jewish Federation of Tidewater is in the process of updating To Life: Stories of Courage and Survival, a collection of 67 personal stories published in 2002.
A large number of the individuals in the book have passed away, and the Commission is looking for additional information that might update and/or add to their original stories. We are also looking for updated photos, both of those profiled in the book, featured alone or with family members.
In addition to updating existing stories, The Commission is interested in adding accounts unrecorded in the previous edition. Also welcome are stories of local rescuers and Righteous Gentiles not previously known to the Commission.
