Beth-El Religious School Happenings

There were so many smiles and hugs during Beth-El’s Closing Day program, “Race to Mt. Sinai,” as illustrated in the photos with this article. How wonderful to celebrate safely in-person!

Beth-El Teen Youth Groups win USY Award!
By Maggie Hessberg
Board member

As it is June now, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came this year and supported Richmond USY, and a special thank you to Brandon and Ramona for all the help!

I also am so excited to announce that at Seaboard’s Spring Convention, the Most Improved Chapter Award went to Richmond USY, along with a Chapter of Excellence Award, and our What Cards Are You Dealt Program won in the Educational Program category!

This is so exciting for us (and maybe we can win Chapter of the Year next year!)

Additionally, I wanted to thank the rest of our board for all they did, planning every program, advertising, reaching out, and leading the programs.

To our seniors, you will be missed but thank you for everything you have done to support Richmond USY, have a great time next year!

I hope everyone has the best summer and I can’t wait to continue programming next school year! Don’t forget that Seaboard Region’s best (in my opinion) convention, Encampment, will be at the end of August, so keep an eye out for more information on that later this summer.
