Kehillah is Virginia’s only independent, progressive Jewish community and is served by Rabbi Patrick Beaulier and Rebbetzin Stefanie Papps, along with an amazing group of staff and volunteers.
Our mission is to inspire people socially, spiritually and intellectually, no matter who you are, where you’re from or where you are going, because you matter.

Check out the events currently at Kehillah:
Shabbat Morning Online & In Person: We’ve gone hybrid! Join us at 10 a.m. virtually for Shabbat morning online, or come in-person to the Rabbi’s and have coffee and tea (along with your spirituality!) as we interact with our online community. To RSVP for June 26, go to https://kehillahrva.org/calendar.
Shabbat on Our Porch: Outdoor Shabbat dinner at 6 p.m. at the Rabbi’s catered by our friends at Mezeh, followed by soulful acoustic melodies led by Robin Rio and words of inspiration with Rabbi Patrick. All are welcome! No Kehillah or Jewish experience required. Tickets are $19/person for your dinner and drinks. To RSVP for June 11, go to https://kehillahrva.org/calendar.
Biweekly Virtual Happy Hour: We are opening our online Whereby room for a Virtual Happy Hour on June 1, 15, and 29 at 7 p.m. This is an informal, just-for-fun gathering! If interested, go to https://whereby.com/kehillah.
To make the experience more enjoyable for participants, space is limited to 12 people at a time.
