The Jewish Community Federation of Richmond stands in solidarity with Israel as rockets continue to rain down on the Jewish State from Gaza.
We mourn for those killed and pray for the swift healing of those injured. We call on the Palestinian Authority to end its ongoing incitement of violence and demand that Hamas and Islamic Jihad immediately cease firing rockets on civilian populations.
We pray for de-escalation and a quick return to peace. We stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel and fully support the right of Israel to defend herself.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by the ongoing violence, including our friends and partners in our Partnership2Gether region of Hadera-Eiron, and we pray for their safety.
Below, please find a series of resources about the developing situation in Israel from our US and Israeli partners.
Our Federation will be joining communities all over the country in a national effort to provide critical support to the most vulnerable and impacted in Israel by launching the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond Israel Emergency Campaign. 100% of every dollar raised will be used to support our family in Israel.
