Celebrate Earth Day at the Weinstein JCC on April 18 with:
- Morning yoga
- Bicycle upkeep and basic maintenance class
- Garden volunteer opportunities with Cat in the Edible Schoolyard.
All activities will require pre-registration and will strictly adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols.
Participants can also join on their own time with the Keepers of the Earth tote program! Sign up and enjoy a take-home kit filled with a community resource guide and creative invitations for families to celebrate Earth Day together.
In an effort to look to the future as an engaged and connected community, the Youth & Family Department is excited to offer an ongoing family volunteer program called “Kehilla Keepers.” “Kehilla Keepers” gives families opportunities to explore the city, get out in nature, and contribute to their community all in your own time.
Contact Rachel Peters, Youth and Family coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information and for more details on how to register.
