Kehillah Happenings

Kehillah is Virginia’s only independent, progressive Jewish community and is served by Rabbi Patrick Beaulier and Rebbetzin Stefanie Papps, along with an amazing group of staff and volunteers.

Our mission is to inspire people socially, spiritually and intellectually, no matter who you are, where you’re from or where you are going, because you matter. For more information about how Kehillah can be part of your journey, go to https://kehillahrva.org.

Check out the events currently at Kehillah:

Ongoing Free Grocery Cards Program: We want to thank those who have shown an outpouring of generosity toward this program.

From our recent funding round, recipients of our cards have extended their appreciation: “Thank you. It’s truly appreciated. We’ll pass the favor on when possible in the future.” “Thank you! It means so much! We are struggling.” “Thank you!

This is very helpful when things are tough right now!” There are still many people who need financial support during this difficult time.

If you’d like to make a donation for our next funding round, or would like more information about the program, go to https://kehillahrva.org/free-grocery-cards.

Biweekly Shabbat Morning Prayer & Learning: Join Rabbi Patrick April 3 at 10 a.m. for easy-to-read prayers and discussion on weekly topics relevant to you. It’s Jewish life, in your life! No Jewish experience required . . . or preferred!

Biweekly Virtual Happy Hour: We are opening our online Whereby room for a Virtual Happy Hour on April 6 and 20 at 7 p.m. This is an informal, just-for-fun gathering!

If interested, go to https://whereby.com/kehillah. To make the experience more enjoyable for participants, space is limited to 12 people at a time.

We are constantly adding new events to our calendar—stay updated by joining our email list at https://kehillahrva.org/free-membership, and liking our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/kehillahrva.
