On Sunday, May 2, we will welcome teens from around the world to participate in a Jewish Peoplehood Day!

T’fillah Israel: The youngest Beth-El students get ready for Yom Ha’azmaut by making Israeli flags.

Teens from Israel, Germany and Argentina will visit our school via Zoom. Students will have the opportunity to learn about Jewish practices, customs and life for teens in these countries during break-out rooms. Many thanks go to our music teacher, Claudia Sachs, for arranging the visit from our International guests.

The 4th and 5th graders have been studying about Global Judaism throughout the semester and will sharing a presentation of their pen-pal letters, and other things that they have learned about our connection to Jews around the world.

Race to Mt. Sinai!! Final Day of Religious School Drive-Thru Event

Trip to Israel: Beth-El pre-school and kindergarten students learn Hebrew paired with a “trip to Israel” for Yom Ha’atzma’au. Bet is for Banias Nature Preserve.Trip to Israel.

We will end our year with one last incredible Drive-Thru Event as we Count the Omer from Second Seder to Shavuot, and get to Mt. Sinai to receive the Torah.

Students can games celebrating all the spring holidays. There will even be stations where student can exit their cars to undertake socially distanced safe activities! We will collect Tzdekah, and the books loaned out during the year. Take a delicious dairy Shavuot treat home with you! Wear Blue and White and your masks.

Come see your teachers one more time this year. We can’t wait to see you in person next September.

Tot Shabbat Saturday, May 1: Under the Blue Sky! 

Celebrate Shabbat in Nature! Listen to the birds and feel the sun on your face as we gather to sing, pray and explore Shabbat in Nature.  We will socially distance but be spiritually close. Bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs.  Masks required.
