Pre-Registration Details for Vaccines in Virginia

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) in February launched a new, centralized website to allow Virginians to pre-register for the COVID-19 vaccine at vaccinate.virginia.gov.

This website replaced all pre-existing local registration portals. For those already pre-registered through your local health district, your name is being automatically imported into the new system and you do not need to register again. You can confirm your preregistration also at the website. This centralized website allows you to pre-register for a vaccine, check your registration status, and access additional information on the vaccination rollout in Virginia. This system does not guarantee an appointment, but it allows residents to notify the Commonwealth of their interest in receiving the vaccine, so that they may be contacted to schedule an appointment. Anyone can pre-register who might eventually be eligible.

VHD also has a statewide hotline to complete pre-registrations over the phone, as well as answer any questions. Call (877) VAX-IN-VA or (877) 829-4682 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 7 days a week.
