March Mitzvah Madness – Closing the Federation Annual Campaign!

Jewish Community Federation of Richmond

If you’re familiar with the Jewish Federation, you certainly know about many of our annual traditions such as Super Sunday, the Grand Event, the L’Dor V’Dor event and many more.

For years and years, these time-honored programs have helped bring the community together, and helped support the Jewish community by fundraising for the Federation Annual Campaign.

This year, we are excited to introduce a new program – March Mitzvah Madness! Throughout March, we will be reaching out to community members to come together for a common goal – to support, sustain and build Jewish life in Richmond and all over the world. These Mtzvoth will be accomplished by our shared value of Tzedakah.

To say the past year has been difficult would be an understatement. However, we know with a successful Federation Annual Campaign, we can ensure that the individuals, Synagogues and Jewish agencies in our community continue to grow in their vibrancy!

That’s where the Madness comes into play.

Federation will be coordinating our final four phone-a-thons to reach as many community members as possible who can help support our shared mission. All volunteers will come together on Zoom for these phone-a-thons to get inspired about the work of Federation, and asking others for their support. All through the month, we will be pushing to close the campaign and ensure our community’s strength!

Right now, the 2021 Annual Campaign has already surpassed our accomplishment from last year. While a great start, we believe that with a successful March Mitzvah Madness, we will even further surpass our goals, which immediately results in a stronger community.

If you’re interested in signing up, you can visit jewishrichmond.org/mitzvah-madness or contact Director of Development and Engagement Jesse Feld at jfeld@jewishrichmond.org.

Thank you for all that you do, we hope you will join in on the madness!
