Chanukah Lunches for EnRich

Melanie and John Rodriguez give a big thank you for their lunches.

As part of a special Chanukah Celebration on Dec. 14, the Weinstein JCC and 5400 Club members distributed free lunches to attendees on the Sunday before, so they could enjoy during the special Monday EnRich for Life event.

A total of 107 bags were prepared and packed by the team on Sunday. Over a two-hour period, the group passed out to people in a drive-by pick-up service.

The sponsors of the EnRich Chanukah program were the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond and VCU Health. JCFR CEO Daniel Staffenberg gave a heartwarming video speech about what’s happening in the community and Chanukah, and was followed by the children from the Weinstein JCC Preschool singing “Dreidel, Dreidel.”
